Jason, Penny, and i are in New Orleans for a friend's wedding and after the dinner we just had, I am so happy to be here. :) Penny only screamed intermitently on the plane rides here, which is way more than i hoped for, though not prayed for. She ate SO MUCH FOOD, but it kept her happy. And she was so excited to see all the people in the food court at the airport that she clapped for about five minutes straight. I'm sure she will be equally enthralled with Bourbon Street....
For dinner we ate at Deanie's seafood restaurant and it was one of the best meals i've ever had. Crawfish four different ways and also stuffed crab...and they start you out by bringing potatoes to the table instead of bread and they are the best potatoes I've ever had, even though they don't look like much.
And for dessert, Bluebell ice cream!
