Maxi turned mini

At lunch, Jason was joking about me pulling my maxi skirt up into a dress to make it mini (because I was complaining about how 90% of my maternity shirts are not long enough now - only my two from H&M fit. So there's always a gap between shirt and skirt). And it was a totally genius idea. 

I couldn't even wait till nap(?)time to work on it. So while the kids were playing happily after lunch...after lunch is always a happier time...I busted out some embroidery floss and pulled together the sides of the top of my skirt into some sort of gather. And ten minutes later, viola! My enormous belly is now covered. :)
