Snowy Saturday

In spite of feeling rather traumatized when I looked at the forecast and realized that 58 degrees I saw was actually for Norfolk and not here, it's still been a good start to the weekend.

The snow IS dazzlingly beautiful. 

And the apple branches that I'm forcing to flower/leaf are springing to life (terrible pun intended). 

And I finally put up the last decal in Penny's room. It only took 15 minutes, but it feels like I completed something big. 

(I really like these decals from Brydie Graphics on etsy - very high quality and they stick so much better than others I've tried, even though they are more work to get onto the wall.)

Kaylen has some kind of horrible-sounding congestion and Penny has taken up to waking up at night again (combination of teething, growing, eating food, going to bed earlier?), so I'm already dreading tonight a little. But hey, one more day of Jason being home and being able to take both girls so I can sleep in!
