Sickies

Holy cow, it's been a long week already. But i actually only have one sickie, not plural, so I'm thankful for that. Kaylen had a fever of 103 on Sunday and it kept going up and down for the next couple days (we even took her to the ER, which was not at all fun), but now she "only" had croup and is drinking normally and occasionally eating even. The croup sounds awful when she coughs, but i think it really is only a mild case right now since she slept through the night ok. Before we went to bed last night, Jason stuck Penny's crib mattress in our closet (it's convenient that P is not sleeping in her crib yet!) and moved Kaylen from her room to the "sick bed" so we'd be able to tell if she has problems during the night. Which she now thinks is pretty much the coolest thing ever. She is taking a nap there now, in fact. Cribs are SO last week. (This might be a convenient time to convert to a toddler bed...)
