I [heart] the library

When I signed up for a new library card a few months ago, I discovered the amazingness is that our online library collection. I've read a dozen or so books (maybe quite a few were young adult lit, but still!) on my phone while feeding Penny, and Jason has listened to that many or more much longer audiobooks.

I just finished "At the Kitchen Table," by Greg Atkinson, and really enjoyed his mishmash of short chapters about different food and how we enjoy it. (My favorite chapter was probably the one about harvesting saffron in Spain!) Makes me want to take the time to enjoy cooking more. Before that: The Night Circus (which I am still thinking about often). Up next: Maisie Dobbs (a detective novel - wo0t! The Bobbsey Twins was one of the first chapter books I ever read and apparently I still am a sucker for mysteries, just with slightly more advanced plots. [Although some days I do think the case of Flossie's missing kitty is about my level. ;) ])
