Picnicking on the patio

Jason texted me as he was coming home for lunch and suggested we eat on the patio. I'm glad he did, because it is perfect weather! Sunshine, low 70s, and a cool breeze. And Kaylen thought it was great because she could wander around and play after she finished eating. Her favorite things include handing Lucy's toys to her and collecting all the tiny apples that have fallen in the wind storms lately. It's a lot of fun to watch her; she delights in the "work" she quite busily does. 

I left my phone inside and decided not to go get it to document the event, because sometimes it's better just to sit and enjoy life. But here are the remains of the picnic. (We had some iced white tea that was pretty delish.)
