How to entertain a teething toddler is the game plan for this week -- or make that how to entertain a teething toddler with a fever (and get her to eat and drink enough). We went to Target this morning and killed some time (and i got a free iced tea thanks to using the Shopkick app) and then came home and played with black beans. I've never let her do this before because i was sure she'd just put them in her mouth, but today i'm glad i listened to my gut instinct and went for it. She was happy for ten whole minutes and only quit because she was ready for another nap. Yay for being past the sample-everything stage!
