The long week

It really hasnt been a terrible week, but it's been a long one and I'm thoroughly exhausted. Only one more day to go, though! I know Kaylen is young for this, but she has most of the signs of teething: excessive drooling (when she never used to), constantly sucking on her fist, sometimes being unhappy even when I'm trying to feed her, and worst of all, having a hard time sleeping. I've taken to holding her sometimes during naps to get her to stay asleep for longer, which of course means I don't get much else done. But it's a little easier to ignore your to-do list when you know what you're doing means a less miserable kiddo (and a less miserable self!).

In good news, yesterday she didn't scream when I took her out of the bath. Maybe she's learning that even baths must come to an end and it's ok like that....
