We had lunch with Jason at Pho 79 and then went across the street to shop at an asian market, which I expected to be a small and kind of dumpy place but turned out to be a really fun shopping experience. We loaded up on mangoes, fresh ginger, noodles, tapioca for bubble tea (3 flavors!), jasmine tea, siracha sauce, dried coconut milk, and the Old Town powdered coffee (with milk and sugar) Rachel had in Malaysia and loved.
After that, off to the Chrysler museum...
Chinese snuff bottles, Egyptian statue, and Japanese art from the historical part of the museum.
And a card from the creators of Curious George (sorry for the bad shot) and various Impressionists and modern art from our favorite part of the museum.
