Growing things!

Jason and i are watching hydroponics videos together on youtube. There are so many cool things you can build yourself. You can even use fish in an outdoor aquarium to fertilize your plants and of course eat them when it gets cold...pretty exciting stuff. (Need to figure out if it's legal to raise tilapia here.) With all the fruit trees and bushes we're adding, we could ultimately grow a lot of our own food. I want to plant a walnut or butternut tree when we take down our pine tree, too, but i don't think butternut butter will ever be replacing peanut butter.
