Hydroponics

A few weeks ago, while ruthless hacking away at the tomato jungle in our greenhouse, i realized i'd accidentally lopped off one of the tiny heirloom tomato plants that had managed to grow under the monster seedlings from the store. I really wanted that heirloom tomato, dang it, so i stuck it in a small vase of water and after several weeks and several water changes, that little heirloom tomato has begun to turn red. Hooray!

More support for my gardening theory of "just try it"! (I'm continually amazed how often plants survive. Although of course, i've also killed a lot of them.)
