Anyway. There was lots of time to do things I don't usually do. I listened to The Cranberries' NPR Tiny Desk concert (something i highly recommend if you like them), an old sermon from our church in Norfolk that i found in my iTunes, and a few chapters of Pride & Prejudice, bought an air conditioner for Kaylen's room, downloaded the second book in the Chronicles of the Kings (?) series and read a bunch of it. So not totally terrible, although feeling rather faint for the first couple hours got old. But getting blood drawn isn't half bad when the lab guy can actually extract it with just one poke of a needle. Perhaps he can be bribed to come to the hospital in a few weeks and put my IV in...
Being gone all morning made me miss Kaylen, though. She's pretty sweet sometimes.
Weird, I'm in the second book of The Chronicles of the Kings too! I'm borrowing from the church library, but might have to get Kindle editions for my trip.
