Yesterday i checked if the green onions were growing back in the garden; and sure enough, fall rain has revived them. They're situated in a small forest of dying plum tree shoots and dog poop, so Jason suggested transplanting them. It's harder work than you'd think, digging up some tiny onions. There are quite a few left, but i transplanted half a dozen to the greenhouse and we're having a few on our pizza tonight - caramelized onions and brussels sprouts (!).
In the meantime, Kaylen is eating leaves. (Actually, i took it away after she had a taste.)
