Sandwich bread, attempt # 1

I made bread today, although really all the credit should go to my mom. She came over this morning and a) ground wheat into flour and b) took care of Kaylen so i could actually do this. It turned out a bit crumb-y - i think i shouldn't have panicked and added an extra 1/3 cup of flour just because the dough was sticky. Sticky dough is, apparently, all right when you're making sandwich bread with a half hour rise time.... (Thanks to extra yeast and microwaving the flour to speed up the yeast.)

I think i'll attempt this again sometime. I like the idea of paying about 25 cents a loaf instead of two dollars - plus it tastes better and not much can beat the smell of bread baking. Then again...i might only do it on days when my mom comes over to bail me out. :)
