The weekly pizza: grilled BLT

It was over 80 in the house, so far too hot to turn the oven on. But Friday night IS pizza night, so we decided to try grilled pizza. Getting the grill hot enough was no problem - its thermometer already registered 150 when I went outside and that was just from the sun!

We grilled the bacon to put on it, which was perfect. The nicest, crumbliest bacon ever. Which also started a small grease fire and required both Jason and me working together to get it off the grill. (if you're cooking bacon on the grill, don't put a foil "tray" underneath to catch the grease! It's not very sturdy.)

We made a sauce to put on top: equal parts mayo, sour cream, and water mixed with a dash of vinegar and some salt and pepper and cayenne. Added a little tang as well as coolness.

Overall I'd say this was high on my favorite pizzas list in spite of having a few grilling kinks to work out. The flavor was just really good!
