Weed busters

I spent about 15 minutes pulling weeds this afternoon - a never-ending job, thanks to the vine weed that's infesting our yard. I don't like the idea of Jason spraying weedkiller in the garden, though, so I guess we'll have to co-exist for now. Once our plants get bigger it won't be such a problem.

Stuff is kind of planted all over the place. Like the lettuce - it seems to be flourishing in a bare patch of dirt next to the fence. Nice and shady there for it, though.

And the two surviving hops are really coming along nicely now.

But the radishes and pumpkins look like they'll be the bumper crops this year.
