Put me in the zoo

We were planning to go hiking today, but due to a not-so-promising weather report, we went to ZooMontana instead. Neither of us had been there in about a decade. And of course it was Kaylen's first time on any sort of adventure at all. Although she slept through most of it....

There aren't a ton of animals, but most of them were out and weren't shy. I was disappointed not to see any otters, but a small grizzly playing with a keg in his "pool" helped make up for it.

The animals are all spread far apart, so you do a lot of walking. Lots of cottonwoods and aspen to see, plus the occasional flowers.
