So, I think we're about as prepared as can be now. Lots of propane for our little grill, lots of canned goods and non-perishables, radio, charged batteries, and...120 gallons of water! It might be overkill, but when you have a gazillion brewing buckets and kegs and things you can fill, why not be prepared?

(Actually, more like praying that this storm continues to wear itself down and we, along with the much-more-populated Northeast, don't get slammed too hard.)
If I still have cellphone service this weekend, might be pictures forthcoming of the hurricane excitement! I wanted to get pictures of Food Lion with its hurricane shutters up, but was too lazy to get out my phone. So just imagine all the store windows here with folding metal curtains/shutters over the front windows.
