Jason is a fan of the red, orange, and purple twin-pops, but I kinda prefer homemade ones. Last month I bought a set of Tovolo Star Ice Pop Molds and they've been a great investment! (The size/shape of the base isn't very convenient for fitting into the freezer, though. But the popsicles themselves are a perfect size.)
So far I've mostly done blends with watermelon since one watermelon makes a lot of watermelon lemonade and popsicles. The last ones were watermelon blended with some fresh-squeezed orange juice, water, a tablespoon of powdered sugar, and a shot of tequila. :) Also I made fudgesicles with leftover chocolate pudding. Now I'm ready to branch out into other flavors. Mango, for one, but any other ideas?
Blueberry Lime
ReplyDeleteBlueberry Lime sounds fantastic. It's going on the list!
ReplyDeletePS - i need to get the recipe sometime for that drink you made for my bachelorette party. I think that would be good popsicle material too...
