Up and down

There are more good things every day now, and less feeling like i'm going to die, so that's something i am really thankful for. These hormones would like to be the death of me, i think. But for every bad hour there are now a LOT more good. Some of the good and bad from today:

Good and bad: Kaylen had enough coins saved to buy a $1 Elmo book at Target and she made the transaction herself. :) And then was quite upset as we left when she discovered she would not be getting her coins back... (But kind of an important thing to learn.)

Bad and good: The permit on our new-to-us minivan expires tomorrow, so i called the courthouse to see if Jason needed to bring anything special to get the title, only to be told the title is not there and we need it to get the plates. But when i called the title agent at the dealership, she was able to fax in some form so J could still get the plates today, which is very good as we don't really want to be forced to go without driving the van... (Perhaps if the state government spent less time checking into our 2011 taxes and wanting  confirmation that J really was in the Navy then, they would be able to get our title back to the dealer to get it to the courthouse to get it to us on time?)

Bad and good: Penny pooped FOUR times in two hours and because of all that didn't take a nap. And Kaylen wasn't even remotely tired. And i was so tired i could hardly convince myself to drag myself into Penny's room to change her yet again. So i texted Jason and, wonderful person that he is, he came home to work and i could safely let the hooligans go while i took a dire-ly needed nap that probably quite literally saved my sanity today.
