May garden update

I am halfway through Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and it is kind of dragging, FYI. I still mostly agree with her and like hearing about growing things, but the most condescending thing I've ever heard is when she implies you have to be an heiress to be a stay-at-home mom. Yes, we stay home because we can afford all the bon-bons we must be eating all day....

Anyway. Just have to get that off my chest. Our actual garden is coming along pretty well. Pea plants getting close to six inches tall, cherry belle radishes will be ready any day now, lettuce getting close to pickable (well, the rogue lettuce, not the stuff yet that i intentionally planted), onions and carrots coming up, spinach getting their second set of leaves, bok choy starting to take off once i moved it out of full sun (all the greens except lettuce are in pots), and arugula really could start being picked probably. Good eating coming soon.

Plus, our apple tree is gorgeous.
