I hope you dance

Well, it's been a very long weekend. But I've survived, Jason should be home in a few more hours, and there is always the hope that tomorrow will go better. (A hope that I now have far more often.)

Since the girls didn't nap this afternoon, I loaded them up in Jason's big diesel truck and we went to Target so I could get caffeinated and push them around with minimal effort while scoping things that I want to go on clearance.... Of course, Kaylen decided the apple chips I gave her needed to be poured into our new toothbrush holder, which meant a trail of apple chips down the aisle before i noticed. Oops! I sincerely hope we never get banned from Target, but i could see their point of view if we did.

Anyway, on the way home a song from my high school (or college?) years came on, and I turned it up and belted out the chorus because it was actually quite fitting for a very messy but ultimately, I hope, beautiful life: "I Hope You Dance," by LeeAnn Womack. You can watch the amazingly 90s video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RV-Z1YwaOiw&sns=em

And in the spirit of the 90s, i'm totally going to put a long-sleeved rayon shirt on to go with my shorts.
