Dollar days

Last week I got Kaylen a ginormous dinosaur activity pad at the dollar store, and she is a big fan of it. She's starting to get fairly interested in dinosaurs, but the main thing is, it has has stickers. Stickers completely unrelated to dinosaurs, but hey. It's the dollar store!

Also, our new grocery store has grapefruit on sale 8/$1. That isn't a typo. Eight. For a dollar. As soon as i re-read that to make sure my eyes weren't decieving me, I texted Jason to ask if he's stop by after work and get some. They're good grapefruit, too, not dried-out-end-of-season ones.

Anyway, all this is good for my budget. What other good deals are there for a dollar?
