Miscellaneous goodnesses

I love that you can cook a chicken in the crockpot to such tenderness it just falls apart when you pull it out. It amazes me every time. (I also really like the crock pot liner bags my mom gave me, mostly elimating a cleaning job I thoroughly hate.)

Snow dunes. I don't think i will like them so much with another 6-12" on top, but right now they're pretty cool. No pun intended.  

Lettuce. The chervil and thyme have sprouted too, to my surprise and excitement. I'll be honest, i prayed these seeds would sprout well so I could have some green, and I'm thankful they did. I think i'll get really wild this weekend and plant peas, too! My geraniums bit the dust after two & three years, so there are pots to fill and seeds cost pennies, so it can never hurt to try. In fact, that is the motto of my gardening. And a lot of the time it works out! 

(Let's pretend i have actually managed not to kill multiple rosemary plants, though. I have given up on those.)
