Words, words, words

Kaylen talks. A lot. And i love hearing hearing her.

"I see it!" is probably her most-used phrase.

She also is constantly telling me where to put Penny, patting a spot and saying "down." Ninety percent of the time this is because she wants to play with her, not because she wants a turn being held, which i think bodes well for their future.

My mom and I just taught her "Duck, Duck, Goose" and she thought it was one of the most hilarious things ever...until I sat down in her spot. That was a truly horrible thing to do!

She gets her H's and W's swapped around usually, so her dog Woof is "hoof" and a horse is "whees." And then Penny sounds slightly more like "Benny" (but i still get P's and B's switched around when writing. I'm so glad i didn't accidentally write Benelope for her birth  certificate....)

She also loves learning about animals and when she plays with her app that says the names of different animals she repeats them a couple times each as if to try to memorize them. Listening to a toddler say "mandrill" and "emu" is pretty funny.

I wish i could remember all the things she says and keep them in my memory forever. I WILL miss this; but i also can't wait to see what's next with her.

(Pretending to be a frog.)
