It's a Beautiful Day

Yesterday Kaylen and I watched a few songs off U2's Slane Castle concert dvd, still one of my favorite things to watch. She was very interested it - clapping enthusiastically whenever she noticed anyone in the crowd clapping - and was even playing guitar for a bit with one of our guitars for Guitar Hero. I enjoyed something more that i already loved, thanks to her enthusiasm, so i guess I can overlook the fact that she wanted to go upstairs during the middle of my most favorite song, "Kite." :-p

She might have rushed the stage a time or two.

Anyway, U2. Always relevant, even now that i'm a 31-year-old mom. "It's a beautiful day, don't let it get away...you can teach me, Lord, I know I'm not a hopeless case..."
