Aaaagh and Awww

I got sick again this weekend, so instead of getting less exhausted (as I was hoping), it's only gotten worse. But i've found on days when I'm doing nothing but "survive," there's really no self-imposed pressure and I spend more time doing things with Kaylen, which she really needs. Until Penny is old enough to play with her unsupervised, she's just going to need a lot of my attention. I'm good with that, though; I had the realization the other day that in a kid sort of way, Kaylen is my best friend after Jason. (Although i am very appreciative of every moment spent with adult friends! :) )

And then there's Penelope. She laughs hardest when I stick her in bed with her sister, the whirling dervish.
