The menagerie

One of my favorite things about Kaylen - and there really are so many - is how much she loves her dolls and stuffed animals. She clutches Jason's very old and dirty bear Sunny to her face and it's hard not to cringe, but a) the poor bear will disintegrate if i try to clean it and b) i think the habit of loving even the old and worn is not one to discourage! When she gets up from her nap, or needs her diaper changed, she'll gather as many of her bears and her knit doll, April, in her arms as possible before standing up in her crib for me to get her.

And on the Kaylen's-baby-sister front, i'll be induced Saturday unless the hospital gets too busy that morning. My doctor thinks all she'll have to do is break my water. Yay! A baby this weekend or sooner.
