It's a-maz-ing how productive you can be in twenty minutes of time alone. But now that i've done some laundry and dishes - and rewarded myself with a bowl of ice cream, because hey, i still feel good! - i think it's naptime.
I did do something besides tidy up and eat, though: put the prettiest of our shells on display in a dish that belonged to my great-grandma. Now i kinda wish there was a beach close by.
Kaylen most likely has the norovirus, which was extremely unpleasant for Jason, but so far has only manifested itself in diarrhea and fussiness and just wanting to be held for her. But she's happy when she's outside, so we've spent a lot of time in the hammock. (Oh, bummer!) And the garden. That girl loves to play in the dirt. Which is nice because while she is making herself very busy puttering around the greenhouse i can do things like stake up the peas!
