Well, so far everything is coming up nicely and I haven't managed to kill anything! Although Jason knows the likelihood of that happening and he just installed an automatic drip hose system so we don't have to rely on me with a watering can.
The soil gets dry and cracked on top; not sure if that's because of the type of soil or if it just dries out too much during the heat of the day. But i think a drip system will help, plus i roughed up all the dirt so it doesn't stay caked around the plants.
A few more weeks and we should have radishes, but what i'm really looking forward to is peas! And to Kaylen eating fresh sugar snap peas from our garden. Although i think what she will really, really love will be cherry tomatoes, which she'll be able to pick herself by the time those start ripening. (Man, i am scared for the seedlings i started, though - i want badly for them to grow, but i really don't know the first thing about growing seedlings indoors. Even with grow lights, i've never had any success.)
