Last night we went vegetarian (a rare thing) and i made falafel. It did NOT turn out like Martha Stewart's, falling apart instead of being nice patties when I fried it. But it was still pretty tasty. Chickpeas are, in my opinion, the best way to have a vegetarian meal; they're more filling than other beans. And eating it on fresh pitas doesn't hurt, either. :)
We tried something else new this week: microgreens. I'll post more about them later, but even though I didn't harvest many today, they added a nice crunch and flavor to my sandwich.
And in other news, I've felt Nigel moving several times this week - yay! That's at least a month sooner (14 weeks pregnant) than with Kaylen. I wouldn't mind if he was a tad less active than her, though. It seems that very active in the womb = very active outside it, too!
