- our garden is coming up nicely, although we've yet to see how the plants really handled the cold. Hopefully they're not permanently stunted from five degree temperatures.
- a husband who works hard during the week to provide for us and then works hard during a day off to brew some really good beer. So far this fall we've had very good pumpkin ale, pumpkin IPA, and now a coffee stout to look forward to.
- a baby who smiles a lot even when she's cranky - her moods are pretty changeable, fortunately. And she keeps herself occupied for ten minutes at a time with a plastic bin that she was fun dumping over and getting toys out of. It's going to be fun to give her things like tape once she's past the everything-goes-in-the-mouth stage.
