Fall Meets Winter

There's a winter storm coming in and to prepare Jason cleaned the chimney today. And of course built a little fire to test it out! Kaylen was fascinated by the flame and i like the smoky applewood smell.

I also picked some tiny red ferns that sprung up in the front flowerbed. Why waste that gorgeous color under snow?
