Zinnias

After what seems like a verrry long wait, our zinnias are starting to bloom. They look a bit pitiful - the petals are kind of scraggly - which I think is due to how hot and dry it's been here. But the pink one I picked yesterday has opened up nicely now that's in water and in a cooler climate (inside). And they're still a nice burst of color, which is what I grew them for.
