Winter vegetables

I know it's a bit odd to be looking forward to winter, especially as someone that normally hates it, but I'm looking through The Winter Harvest, by Eliot Coleman, and can't wait to start our winter greenhouse garden. "The list of cold-hardy vegetables includes the familiar...and the novel-mâché, claytonia, minutina, and arugula." I have no idea what the first three are, but it will be fun to discover....
