Morning photo shoot

After not sleeping well last night (always a consequence when she doesn't sleep well during the day either, which of course makes a rather hellish 24 hours for both of us!), Kaylen woke up early this morning. I was getting tired and frustrated until the kid had a huge diaper blowout and literally had poop almost all the way up to her neck. It's at that point you have to either laugh or cry; fortunately it struck me as kind of funny this time, so after I finally got her all cleaned up, I was in a better mood and decided to take some photos. And there's nothing like looking at a smiley baby to make you feel a little better....
