The first week

I kinda want to write about her birth, for those who are interested in the gory details, but that's too long to type on my phone so it will have to wait. But the first week (it's been eight days now) has gone by super fast. And thank God for that, because it's now a week closer to getting past this stage in our lives - although at the same time, it's all been so worthwhile. Kaylen is amazing to me even when I'm tired beyond what I ever thought I could be (and still survive) and when I'm frustrated with trying to figure out what on earth to do to meet her needs. Everyone says all a newborn does is eat and poop and sleep, but that doesn't mean they're simple to care for! Still, i wouldn't trade mine for the world....
