A sunny weekend

It's been beautiful May-like weather in March for the past few days. I know we could still get a blizzard in April, but that doesn't make early spring weather any less wonderful right now. I can't say I've been for lots of walks - just going around the block is enough of a workout right now - but I've been keeping the windows open and still enjoying it a lot.

Jason went to Denver for the weekend, so on Friday night I had dinner with my sister and brother (a really delicious Italian dinner) and last night I went out to Siam Thai with Melodee and then watched The Big Year, starring Jack Black, Steve Martin, and Owen Wilson as some competitive birders. It was funny and just enjoyable and also made me want to do some bird-watching...  So it's been a very nice weekend, but I'm also very ready for Jason to get home. Life just isn't the same without him!
